Operator:  

POSITION SUMMARY:

Perform basic tasks and build understanding of overall work flow of the shop floor in preparation for next job assignment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Assist on the equipment as directed.

· Learn basic grades of base and coated film produced.

· Learn to perform quality testing on film produced.

· Learn basics of Arjobex shop floor operations.

· Monitor silos, bag houses and clean as necessary.

· Operate forklifts.

· Remove, weigh, and accurately report completed reel information.

· Keep shop floor clean.

· Weigh, record, and dispose of scrap generated during production.

· Fold and stack empty boxes and pallets.

· Follow safety and PPE requirements.

· Stack and/or cut cores for reuse.

· Accurately use tape measure in both metric and standard.

· Learn shop floor layout.

· Performs other duties as assigned by Lead or Manager.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

None

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or GED; one year of experience in a production manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, compose, and interpret general business documents. Excellent command of the English language.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to properly use and read a tape measure, ability to understand various units of measure and convert to and from standard measurements to the metric system

Maintenance Technician:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Install, troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical equipment and distribution systems, involving work of varied nature with minimum supervision. Use analytical and solutions oriented thinking to bring reliability to all machines and processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

ELECTRICAL:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, correct, and program electrical problems in power distribution, electrical equipment, PLC’s, VFD’s, instrumentation, and lighting systems.
  • Repair, overhaul and test electrical equipment, both AC and DC currents. Perform installation of wide range of electrical equipment such as but not limited to power circuits, lighting systems, switch gears, transformers, starters, controllers, production equipment power, control systems and communication equipment.
  • Read and troubleshoot from schematics, blue prints, manuals, and computers on all aspects of electric’s and electronics, and test electrical, electronic, pneumatic instrumentation used in production.

MECHANICAL:

  • Diagnose trouble from a predictive stand point, and perform all mechanical operations necessary to modify, repair, overhaul, and rebuild all types of different and difficult machine parts, and building fixtures.
  • Ability to use machine tools, plant machinery and equipment, fixtures, process and special equipment involving layout and development, and bench.
  • Use the lockout/tag out procedure properly and aid in operations in any problems they encounter with the system.
  • Start up new and or repaired equipment and assures proper operation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 8 years relevant industrial experience working with electrical and mechanical systems. An Associate’s Degree in Industrial Electronics and/or technical certifications are a plus, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid Driver’s license is required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, compose, and interpret general business documents. Excellent command of the English language.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
